We are managed and operated as an open-admission county facility by The Ohio County Commission. Our state-of-the-art facility houses approximately 35 dogs and 30 cats that are available for adoption. Incoming animals are made available for adoption based on temperament and health.
Our adoption fee is $80.00. This includes treatment for internal parasites (as needed) for all animals. For dogs/puppies: one or more sets of DHLPP, and the Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine, for cats/kittens: one or more sets of the FVRCP Vaccine. The adoption fee also includes a $51 voucher redeemable at most local veterinarian offices to help with the cost of spaying/neutering the animal you adopt.
