The zoo will likely be an incredible choice place in order for you to obtain animals images without having a trip to safari in summer. You may choose their images inside the safe bench that is definitely out there near the cages. For making you success in using the pictures of animals that you might want, you'll be able to abide by the next guidelines.
Outside of a jungle of rain-washed pines and junipers spearing the recent blueness from the Florida sky, ran a little, tawny-haired boy. His bare toes, extending from his overalled legs, crackled towards the fallen palmettos. He leaped to the air, flinging his arms toward a flock of white doves circling above him.
53 10105 19th Ave SEEverett, WA 98208 (425) 379-0400 I've been taking my Dachshund her for a few years now, and I've really enjoyed my experiences with them. I took him in when he became lethargic and they kept me updated on every part of the process when we were trying to find out what was wrong. I really appreciate communication, especially when I'm clueless about medical terms and such, so it was nice having them to talk and hear what Howe thoughts were.
I'd definitely recommend this place to any pet owner. This review is for boarding only. We boarded our kitty here in December while we were out of town. They are only 5 minutes from my house which is great. Every person I dealt with was wonderful. They answered all my questions and I knew our kitty was in good hands. I will use them again when we need to board our cat. Suggest you look elsewhere for animal care unless you want to come in every few weeks for your animal to get yet another exam by another doctor or you can be assured you get the same doctor every time.
Every doctor wants to do his own exam here and they do not trust each others exam. More important for them to keep making extra revenue by having exam after exam instead of working with owners on practical solutions to simple problems like urinary infections in a healthy 6 year old dog. I came in with symptoms of my dog having a urinary infection, after 2 exams 2 months apart where they took his temp, listened to his heart, checked his ears, checked his teeth etc.
etc. 2 full exams.. Original urine exam where they drew blood because of cathing my dog caused blood in the urine so I agreed to xray to check for stones, it was negative. They advised anti-inflammatory medicine and to return for lab tests in 7-10 days if not improved. Did not improve so I returned and had complete set of blood work done on my dog as they suggested. I waited a whole week and never heard back from anyone with the lab results.
After repeated attempts to get the doctor to call me with results- she told me that they all came back normal - which I totally expected. (I have had many dogs over the years and I kept telling them my dog is very healthy except for this recent urinary infection but I went ahead and got all the tests they requested just to be sure)Anyway I was expecting that after all this time and all these tests being normal and me agreeing to have xrays and blood work to have a complete renal work up that they would say - "well maybe you are right your dog likely has a urinary infection again so we are happy to call in an antibiotic for him to try .
.....but NO I was told your dog will need to come back yet again for another full exam by another doctor because the other doctor is out on medical leave. ( I refuse to keep coming back for an essentially very healthy dog to have yet a 3rd full exam by a new vet because the other one is out on leave.....so they can generate more income especially after agreeing to let them run all the extra tests on my dog.
The clinic is in a nice building and they do give out free little bottles of water but unless you want to come back over and over for complete exams for your animals every month, want to throw away money and want to work with a clinic that is more interested in creating revenue by frequent visits then listening to owners about their animals I suggest you look elsewhere. There are lots of other quality vet clinics around here.
I don't think I will be boarding with this company. During my search for a boarding facility I went there to check things out. Met Gabi, she was great, very down to earth and friendly. Answered most of my questions. Not sure where the receptionist was. But after our talk she went on with her duties while I waited to get pricing ( very expensive). As I was waiting I over heard Gabi being yelled at.
It was so rude and unprofessional. I over heard some of the other workers saying the one that was yelling was Katie. She belittled poor Gabi and seemed to treat her like she was lower than dirt. I am sorry but if this woman treats people like this I can only imagine how pets are treated. I don't understand why a company would employ such a poor mannered and unprofessional person. Katie you need to be taught manners.
To Gabi you deserve to work at a better place. And by the way thank you for your help. You dear I give 5 stars too. I called for a second opinion. I asked about a treatment, was placed on hold, and a moment later, a veterinarian took my call. Although I didn't catch his name (bad memory, apologies), the website indicates only one male vet, who is also the owner, so I'm guessing who I spoke with.
He was very patient, very helpful, and extremely understanding. As my veterinarian is impossible to speak to (I always have to speak to a vet tech), I was very grateful and am considering switching veterinarians. The service Dr. Johnson and Keryn give me on every visit is always warm welcoming and very informative. I have utilized this doctors office since I brought my pug home. Yes agreed with others it's not the cheapest, but I will gladly pay a little extra for my pet.
She is worth it and I value her health care by these experts. I was very unhappy with the service and the prices are so high. The doctors are all about business and moving on to their next patient. They show little compassion. I brought my animal in here and was charged a big fee for testing then she became even more ill two weeks later and they charge me again for the same testing. I called the billing supervisor and he would not budge on the price.
They nickel-and-dime you for everything. Big issue with this place is too many vets and no time to take good care of the animals. This company definitely takes advantage of the customer and gives veterinarians a bad name. I can't say enough good things about NAC! We moved to Everett in 2014 and shortly after we adopted out dog Barley from the Everett Animal Shelter. While researching local Vets in the area, I came across NAC and they were quite reputable so we decided to take our new dog and older girl to them for a check up.
They are pricier than other vets but I feel you pay for the quality of service. They were very nice from the get-go. The front staff, vet techs and the doctors are exceptionally delightful. My older dog, Aurora gets very nervous at the vet and she melts to the floor. The docs are always patient with her and even sit on the floor with her to tend to her. My small dog, Barley is totally comfortable with them and is a really good patient.
He has had, teeth extractions, mass removal, X-rays, biopsies, blood work and regular check ups. They have always taken such great care of my dogs. I am glad we found them. Great first experience. We needed a new vet closer to home. Very nice facility. The receptionist, vet tech and vet were all friendly. Great care for our two kitties. They took plenty of time and asked lots of questions and were so gentle with the animals.
They did an ear culture on one and bladder culture on the other. And they called a few days later to see how the cats were doing. A little expensive? Probably comparable to many other facilities. Glad I read the reviews and found a new vet. Good hours on weeknights and Saturdays. I was taking my cat in because he had been puking the last couple mornings. The two people I interacted with (Katie and Dr.
Meyers) both appeared very understanding and compassionate with my scared kitty. My cat actually hopped over to Katie while I was talking with the doctor. lol. They were very gentle with him and and treated him with care. As far as the facility, it's very inviting and very quiet. The rooms were nice and comfortable too. Well lit, etc. This will prob be my go-to vet now. Took my 9 month old puppy in when he was really sluggish and acting weird for a few days.
The staff was a little rude when I arrived, since I was 15 minutes late but we're friendly after the doctor said she'd still squeeze us in and i explained that I was need to the area and got lost. The facilities was very clean and nicely decorated. I felt comfortable having my dog checked out there. My appointment including the exam took about 40 minutes and I was given multiple options for his exam and medications.
I ended up paying for the exam and 2 dewormers (a regular dewormer and tapeworm dewormer shot) and it only cost me $120. The doctor was very gentle, confident but extremely humble and helpful. I will definitely be returning with my "fur baby". My dog has a hot spot on his back that got out of control and I decided this morning, he needed to see a vet. Our previous vet seemed unable and unwilling to schedule an appt in a reasonable amount of time so I went to Yelp to find a new one! We were seen at noon today and had high quality care from the moment we walked through the door.
We are switching to this vet for all future care. On top of the great quality care and the like ability of the staff, the price was very reasonable. I'd highly recommend them to other looking for a local vet. This facility is incredibly overpriced. While I believe the care is quality and the people are wonderful and caring, I was charged $500.00 for an ultrasound. The new vet charges $42. My dog has bladder cancer and that's $450.
00 I will not be able to spend on her, making her comfortable and giving her a better quality of life for the time she has left. I did ask beforehand if I could have this procedure done cheaper and was told it might be more expensive as I'd have to pay for a specialist. I'm not sure why she told me that since that's exactly what they do there--have a radiologist come in. We adopted our cat from the Everett Animal Shelter in March 2013, and when we did, there was a certificate for a complimentary pet checkup at Northwest Animal Care.
With this also being conveniently located near our home, it's been a great place to take Keaira for her regular checkups. Our cat hates getting in her kennel and going anywhere, and the vet's office is no different. Being an indoor cat, and our only fur baby, she's not used to other animals. With that said, the staff here have always been sweet with Keaira and coaxing her out of her kennel - which funnily enough, it's hard to get her in there at home! They are always on time with their appointments, thoroughly discuss her health with me, and suggest products to help her health (ie: dental treats to help remove tartar from her teeth).
Their prices are reasonable, and while no visit is ever inexpensive, I would only want the best for our kitty anyways. The veterinarians at Northwest Animal Care have been good caretakers of our pets and we have a great relationship with them. We also take our pets to their grooming facility and have been pleased with the work. The only critique I have is the services are a bit pricey. I did a google search for rabbit spays and called this location without realizing it was the same place I called several months ago.
I asked for an estimate for a rabbit spay and was told that an exam would be required, which is $52. Pre-op bloodwork and some other testing that I can't recall, plus pain medication to send home afterward would cost $400. I said no thank you before she even got to the cost of the procedure. This location is just a few minutes from my home, and I was hoping not to have to take time off work, but I will be heading elsewhere for my bunny's spay.
The time and gas money will come nowhere near the $450+ that Northwest Animal Care wants to charge. This place is very clean but very expensive. I did not have any good experiences here, even though the veterinarians are nice and the neutering went well but very expensive. I told them my dog pees a lot and loves water and they insisted on doing tests. So I did it and paid $200. The results showed nothing was wrong.
A few months later I came back and they insisted on doing the same tests.... I said if they already showed he was fine then I don't want to pay for the same test, but they said that things can change within months. So I believed them, as I got worried, paid another $200 and they said nope nothing is wrong. I was furious. What a waste. When you hear that vets do everything they can to get your money, this place is it.
I'd go somewhere else that's cheaper and doesn't just want your money. Also, always check the bill before you approve anything they do to your animal. They were going to charge $20-25 to inject water into him. If I didn't see that, they would've done it! We also got him neutered here and on the list of items they put a lot of things I did not want, such as chipping my dog. Thank goodness I asked to see the bill before I let him get neutered.
They nickel and dime you if you don't check every little thing. I also paid extra for my dogs to get laser neutering instead of stitches and my dogs came home with stitches. They told me it would be less painful for them so I paid extra and it was the same as regular neutering. The lady who does grooming there is amazing though and I would recommend going there for grooming. Besides that, I'll never be back.
Been taking my baby usher here for years, and my deceased dogs here for as long as I can remember. (when they first opened i think) Well.. my parents have LOL My mother loves the staff here, and my cat has always been taken care of. Also, just throwin it out there. GREAT customer service. Courtney will do anything to make sure you animal feels safe and secure.. as well as you :) I and my pets have been clients of NWACH for almost 15 yrs now & I would not take my animals anywhere else.
I found this place when I took one of my baby beagles for a first checkup at the vet down the street from here. I owed them some money for putting down my other beagle & I had most of the money to pay them for it, but they refused to see my new pup unless I paid the full amount. The scene became a bit ugly as their front desk receptionist was being very rude & I had also taken a cab to get there, so I had no transportation.
Payment had never been an issue before & I had always paid my bills from them. So I was very irate. So I walked out, with my new pup in my arms & began to trek down the street. As I headed N. on 19th I saw Northwest Animal Care across the street. So I took a chance & entered their facility with my fingers crossed that I would get some help for my new baby. They were great. Got me in to see Dr.
Johnson within a 1/2 hour when I was just a walk-in off the street. My pup got her shots & her first wellness exam & we were off. I have used this facility and Dr. Johnson & his co-doctors ever since that day. And we have been through almost everything that you can think of....neutering, luxated patella surgery, torn ligament surgeries, cancer, food poisoning, hyperthyroidism treatment, putting my babies down, and the list goes on.
. Dr. Johnson has also been through alot since that first day. Expansion of his facility, new doctors that he hired that didn't work out, accounting problems, and through it all he has taken the best care of my cats & dogs that I have brought in for him to treat. His co=workers that he has now are of the highest quality as are his receptionist staff & vet assistants. All are caring, compassionate, friendly & treat your animals with the highest regard for their health & well being.
They are always sensitive towards any pain that your animals might be in & will always work towards making sure that your animal is comfortable & feels the best that they possibly can in any situation. Sure, some of the care is high priced, but they are not exorbitantly over priced. The base exam price is, I believe, $47.00 & then you go from there. I am willing to pay more for excellent care of my pets, then cut costs with some yahoo vet that doesn't give a rip about my animals.
You do get what you pay for. I'm way old enough now to know this is almost always true. There is a few negative reviews for NWACH. I don't understand how some of them could have had such bad experiences. Never have I had any problems with them at all. They do not have payment plans, which does make it difficult at times. Especially when you have to put together the money for surgeries & such. Dr.
Johnson did take pre-dated checks when he first started his practice. But due to some people who wrote bad checks & didn't pay their bills he had to stop that practice. So, you see, it's always the bad apples that make it worse for those of us that do pay our bills when promised. If you want an excellent vet who is competent and takes very good care of your animals, this is where you should go.
You will not be disappointed. Have a good day! New to Washington and after researching several vet offices we had a great first exam at this office for our two dogs. We toured the vet office and boarding kennel a few weeks ago and were impressed with the cleanliness (no dog smell in the boarding area!) and friendliness of the staff in both areas. Coming from Alaska (where everything is expensive) I found the fees to be reasonable and in-line with what I was used to paying for exams and vaccinations.
I was actually thinking it might be more expensive here. I wasn't looking for a "bargain" vet. Took both dogs in for vaccinations and new patient exam. Again found staff to be friendly and professional. Dr. was thorough and answered questions and suggested possible vaccinations and procedures to consider for the future. Looking forward to a day of doggie daycare to get familiar with the facility followed by overnight boarding in the suites later in the week! Typically our dogs go crazy (in a good way) at the vet and LOVE going there.
After our first visit I believe we will have the same experience here.
