You can choose their pictures from the safe and sound bench that is definitely obtainable in close proximity to the cages. Outside of a jungle of rain-washed pines and junipers spearing the new blueness on the Florida sky, ran a little, tawny-haired boy. His bare toes, extending from his overalled legs, crackled towards the fallen palmettos. He leaped in the air, flinging his arms towards a flock of white doves circling previously mentioned him.
84 16150 Monterey StMorgan Hill, CA 95037 (408) 779-7325 I just took my ailing 18 year old cat here. The vet and his staff are so caring, the place is spotless and they were so respectful of my old cat, who complained bitterly anyway. They carefully covered any charges and let me give the go ahead for these charges before they did anything. They carefully explained what they thought was going on and what tests they thought were needed to rule out other things and what those other things could be.
I really appreciate that they have separate waiting rooms for cat and dog patients, which made for a more relaxed waiting time for the patients and their owners. My wait time was less than 10 minutes in the waiting room, then a couple of minutes for the tech in the patient room and less than 15 minutes for the vet. Dr. Harika's caring and follow up after my pet's visit to his office is deeply appreciated.
Bella is doing well now and knowing she's in good hands, we don't have to worry about where to go if Bella ever needs medical attention again in the future. Thanks again Dr. Harika! Thank you Doctor for taking care of eye infection. I can now spot the squirrels outside my owner's house and at the park. I also want to thank you and your super friendly staff for calming my human master down , he can become quite stressful sometimes.
I almost want to muzzle him. Great Doctor , Great Staff XXOO - Bailey M p.s. See you again Today is April 29, 2017. To date, Dr. Harika has left EIGHT comments to my review, ranging from blaming me for my dog's death, glorifying his services, expressing sympathy, and then back to trying to convince me he went "above and beyond." THIS IS HARASSMENT. My dog died in December, and the fact that I've gotten EIGHT emails from yelp since then telling me he has added/changed comments on my review (last one at 2AM April 29, 2017) is a continual reminder that my dog went into pulmonary distress under his watch and ended up dying later that evening.
I'm trying to move on. You should too. Please leave me alone. Yelp is a place for customers to share their experiences, not to get into a war of words. I've done my part and stopped responding to comments only to keep getting emails that Dr Harika is still responding to my review 5 months later. I had such an amazing experience with the Dr Harika and Morgan Hill Animal Hospital. Our pet Quincy had an emergency and needed an immediate surgery.
I called several hospitals and could not get any help from any of the veterinarians around my area. I got a reference for the Morgan Hill Animal Hospital and made a call explaining my situation. Dr Harika went out of his way to help me out so that I could stabilize Quincy and be able to make it to his hospital. He had seen his patients for the day and was going to leave, however he waited for me till I got to his hospital.
He took such good care of Quincy that she managed to get through the surgery and was fine. It was such an anxious time for me- Dr Harika and his wonderful team really helped me through a difficult situation. It's really a dedicated team at this hospital and they love working with animals....Thank you Dr Harika Dr Harika cares deeply for his clients and their pets. His staff are friendly and helpful.
I got calls from Dr Harika on the condition of my ailing pet. He goes above and beyond. In reply to your message, Dr. I think you should check the spelling on my name which is in my private message to you. My records are there and Greta was indeed treated by you. I spoke with you on at least 4 occasions personally. Keep up the good work. We have been taking our 7 year old Siberian Husky to MH Animal Hospital for the last 5 years, and started taking our new 6 month old Husky as well and could not be happier with Dr Harika and his staff.
This place continues to go above and beyond and we are always sure the team has our pets best interest in mind. When we got our Husky, she got in to some poisonous plants around 2 months old. Dr Harika treated her on a Saturday morning and called and emailed us on Sunday personally (outside business hours) to make sure we were all doing ok. Love this place and would highly recommend them!!! Thanks for all you do!!!! My dog doesn't dread going to the vet and I think it is due to the caring and respectful staff at this clinic.
Dr. Harika is thorough and caring. I have always received great service here. Dr. Harika is always honest with his recommendations. It is fairly easy to schedule a convenient appointment time here. I will continue going here as long as I live in the area. We moved to Gilroy in December. I had our 3 kitties records transferred here, incase there was an emergency or someone got sick. Today was our first visit.
Yearly checkup for Hobbes and Jellybean (Bean), and shots. The staff at the desk were all super friendly. The Dr. was so nice! He went over everything. I felt like the kitties got a good exam and nothing was missed. I really felt like they took their time with us and weren't rushed. (This was an issue at our last vet before we moved). Prices are amazing. When she told me the total for 2 kitties, plus 4 shots I almost fell over.
It was $100 less than what I paid in Sunnyvale. After I got home I had time to look at the receipt and I noticed that they charge you less for the second exam. Isn't that nice! I've never had a vet do that before! The shots were also $10 or more cheaper each. The office was clean everything looked great. I really loved that they had separate cat and dog waiting rooms. I think this especially helped Bean.
She gets so nervous when we come to the vets. My son also has had some bad experiences with small dogs and he appreciates the separate rooms too. I'm so happy to have found this place. We will be coming here for a long time I'm sure. They also have Saturday appointments!! Again amazing! Dr. Harika once again I want to say thank you so much. you are just the best. you are always so kind and loving and patient with my pets.
One of the things I really appreciate and like about you is the common sense and you never send me home with a bunch of medications if there's a home remedy or a Whole Foods medication.I really appreciate that. have a great day we'll be back we've been coming here for about a year now. The office smells like pee. The front desk staff is under-trained and do not read notes on patient records. They always overbook.
The front desk staff is really rude and lack of people skills (basic ones). The scheduling is a mess and they do not listen to customers. Once, I was on hold for 10 min, when she finally picked up the phone, she said hello for 2 secs before hanging up. it didn't give me the chance to un-mute.When I called again, she said with an attitude "now you have to wait in line again, and immediately put me on hold", this was really rude and upsetting, no need to explain why.
On one appointment, I waited for 1 hour for the Dr to come see my dog, so by the time we were done, we spent 2 hours there. I told the Dr that was not acceptable and I would have appreciated to be informed ahead of time about the waiting time, so I could go another day instead of waiting for an hour. Dr. Jaspal was sorry about it, and put a note on my record to have the staff let me know if he had a busy day or emergency come up.
I told the Dr that I understand emergencies come up, and asked if they can just let me know if it happens before my appointment, so I do not have to wait for an hour, that I don't mind coming back another day. He assured me I wouldn't have to wait again and that he'll put a note on my record. Next time I went back, I had an appointment and when I get there, surprise! They changed my vet, which I normally don't mind, but they could have notified me when I made my appointment.
My problem with the substitute "vet" was that the first thing he asks me (instead of trying to know my dog directly who was just standing there) is "is your dog friendly? does he bite?", this is the first time a 'vet' asks me that question, they normally go and do a meet and greet, he acted like he was scared of dogs, he was actually standing behind me, hiding from my dog, no kidding. That vet was a JOKE and he smelled also.
I assure him he'll be ok, and that my dog is friendly. It seems like they picked a guy from the street and gave him a vet uniform. I told him I was there because my dog has a lump on his leg, after he miserably tried to locate it without success, I helped him by pointing exactly where the lump was. The "vet" look again for some time, and couldn't find it. I was beyond frustrated, so I decided to asked to be seen by my original vet another day.
They said OK and I went out to ask the front desk staff one more time to put in the record that I wanted to be notified if an emergency shows up before my appointment. One of the staff was playing smart and started explaining what the word emergency means, I know what it is, I know they happen, I don't mind changing my appointment, I DO mind wasting my time and not be told the truth. The emergency didn't just show up when I arrived, there was no owner in the reception, it was all quiet and settled, so the animal was already admitted at least 10-15 min ago, they could have called me and let me know my vet was not going to be available and save me the trip, but again their time is the only one that is valued, not the customers'.
The other girl (tattooed and red haired) started calling me names and that I was ridiculous. It got to a point that my dog wasn't being seen and I was just wasting my time (30min) requesting to put a note in my records to let me know if on my appointment's day the Dr is unavailable or a emergency shows up. Commitment and responsibility is the failure of this place plus the unprofessional and under trained staff from the front desk.
Quality over quantity. They try to make as much money as they can by over scheduling patients without caring for the quality and respect. When I went back to see the regular vet, he saw the lump and said they'll do a biopsy to discard cancer. He measured the lump, it was 1 in. After they did the old-school punch biopsy (which is not accurate, so I wasted over $250) my dog was left bleeding, sent home and the lump swollen and tripled its size.
Days later, the Dr said test results say it is just inflammation, so he sent antibiotics, the strongest ones available (as I found out later) to my 13 year-old dog. Again, irresponsible! Dr. said inflammation should go down with the meds. We just finished them, and the lump is as big as after they did biopsy (again wasted $60 in useless meds). I am 200% sure had I not done the biopsy with them, the lump will still be 1 in big At this point, my gut feeling said enough! and I decided to go back to my previous vet in San Jose, and surely enough, he agreed the methods Dr Jaspal used are not effective, old-school, lack of expertise.
He also laughed saying that on my dog's chart from Dr Jaspal, they put down "Cautious, dog may bite!" what a JOKE! She has never even tried to bite anyone, nor they told me about this.My vet in San Jose said she's the most submissive dog he's ever met. DON'T come here ever! don't waste your time and money We are staying in the Morgan Hill area for 3 months for work and have our two Great Danes with us.
We are usually not comfortable taking them to a strange vet because they are older and we don't like stressing them out by introducing them to new doctors. However, both of our Danes got sick while we were here and we had to take them in for tests. We chose Morgan Hill animal Hospital based on the reviews here on Yelp, and we are so glad we did. Every member of the staff was awesome, and the doctor is just spectacular! Our boy has had to go back several times for additional tests to find out what is going on, and the doctor has been on top of every single thing each step of the way.
He has even gone out of his way to call us after hours just to check on our dogs and to talk to us about everything. As far as vets are concerned, their prices are beyond fair, especially when you account for the quality of care they provide to your pets, and to you as the parents. You are not a number here, you are a patient, and the care of your pets is their first and only concern. We have had the same vet for our pets back home for years, and I can honestly say that if I lived closer, I would switch to Morgan Hill Animal Hospital permanently without question.
The veterinary world needs more doctors and staff like Morgan Hill Animal Hospital! Our dog Jake, who is now 6 years old, has been a patient with Dr. Harika since he was 8 weeks old. Dr. Harika has also cared for our cat in an emergency post-op situation as well. Dr Harika and his staff are always very accommodating and professional. My dog recently suffered a serious knee injury. I visited Dr.
Harika and his staff on Tues May 23rd. The examination and x-rays confirmed that he needed a pretty serious surgery, which would be costly with an outside specialist. He said he could do the surgery much cheaper and just as effectively, however I could not get my dog in for surgery until Wed, May 31st. We left with a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and pain med and were given instructions for his care.
The very next evening (after hours at around 8:00 pm) Dr. Harika called to check in on us and see how Jake was doing. I explained his current status and Dr. Harika immediately made the decision to clear his schedule on Friday and move the surgery date up as Jake clearly was in pain and making him wait it out a full week would not have been ideal. Jake's surgery went well and Dr. Harika advised that the first 72 hours post-op would be brutal in terms of his level of care that he would need.
He wasn't kidding. It was a really difficult time and Jake was in a LOT of pain but Dr. Harika stayed really close to us by phone and email for the first 72 hours and beyond. He provided us with ample amounts of medication to ensure that I had what I needed to keep Jake comfortable during his post op care and instructed me to reach out to him personally by phone over the weekend if anything came up.
Today was Jake's 1 week post op check up. Dr. Harika came out and greeted us and thoroughly reviewed the X-rays, post op care expectations and answered all of my questions. I could not be more pleased with the outcome and so relieved that I had Dr. Harika personally stayed by my side the entire duration of Jake's care. I also want to call out that this was over the 3 day Memorial Holiday weekend!! We are very indebted to incredible care and professionalism that we have received from Dr.
Harika and his staff at Morgan Hill Animal Hospital. I would highly recommend them for the care of your pet. Yes, they're quite busy at times, but that's to be expected with a successful Vet office with a large patient load. If you have an emergency, know that they will give you their undivided care and attention. THANK YOU DR. HARIKA AND YOUR AMAZING STAFF AT MORGAN HILL ANIMAL HOSPITAL!! After making a call to this office, won't be visiting.
Seems to be good reviews for the doctor, perhaps he should work with his staff to have some of his charm rub off. The woman that answered the phone was impatient and rude. Don't need that while were dealing with a traumatic pet issue. Dr Harika is awesome. He recently did surgery on my dog's ACL and although the recovery was longer than we hoped, Dr Harika consistently checked in and was available on email to answer any and all questions.
My dogs have been going here for years and will continue to do so for years to come. Took our dog for an exam and it took longer than it should have because the doctor was going in and out of the exam room a lot. It was unprofessional and disappointing. The office is very outdated inside and it was a rainy day so the exam room was extremely humid and sweltering. I wish someone could point me to a decent vet for my animals.
First Gilroy vet Hosp. and they killed my dog after promising that what they were going to do would fix her and then charged me $2000. Then I went to Orchard vet Hosp. and if you look you can see by the picture what they did to him. They called it a "mis-labeling". So we tried this place. To begin with you can't understand a word the vet says. The receptionist is pure evil. Both office girls are nose in the air snoots.
I guess she thinks face piercing and listening to druggie music makes her better than normal people. Anyway, they put my kitty on stronger meds that made him better but they charged us 3 times as much as the last vile place. Then he got in a fight. I didn't think it was that bad but decided we should take him in anyway to be sure. By the time my daughter got into the room they had already shaved him and sliced his side wide open.
She thought it was from the fight and told them to go ahead. They did all kinds of things and used a bunch of staples. After she brought him home and showed me the picture I could tell that they were the ones that made the biggest slice. Because I am a Christian and God says to pray for your enemies I will ask Him to bless them. But I hope on His own He destroys them. Had my dog teeth cleaned here and had a great experience.
Was quoted twice as much to go to my regular vet in Los Gatos. Friend recommended Morgan Hill Animal Hospital. Dropped her off at 8.30am and picked her up at 4pm. Only negative was that they didn't call me to keep me updated on her progress as promised and they didn't call me to update me on her blood work results. I felt when I called in they were getting frustrated by my calls. Otherwise a great all round experience My fiancée scheduled an appointment to take our dog in for hot spots before our vacation.
I've been here before for our other dog and bought the puppy package so I knew it was gonna be expensive. However, $245 for a an antibiotic shot is kinda ridiculous. In addition to the inflated costs, the staff is not friendly and I felt like a number instead of a customer. I left there feeling ripped off, scammed, and taken advantage of. My suggestion for anyone taking their pet here is to ask a lot of questions and do not let them touch your pet until you have a clear picture of the associated cost of any recommended treatments.
Due to the below average customer service and lack of transparency regarding cost, this will be my last time visiting their office. The vets and the technicians are friendly and pretty professional. However, my biggest complaint is the vet's ability to jump to the extreme diagnosis first. During a voluntary visit for an itchy puppy, they immediately insisted my dog has mange as the first diagnose to an obvious seasonal allergy.
After a confirmed skin scraping at close to 40$ my suspicions were confirmed. I walked out without no additional information then to what I found through past experience with other allergenic dogs. Still, one of the top two best vets in Morgan Hill.
