Away from a jungle of rain-washed pines and junipers spearing the recent blueness with the Florida sky, ran a small, tawny-haired boy. He leaped into the air, flinging his arms towards a flock of white doves circling previously mentioned him.

Tyler went missing 6 days ago.
He's almost 20 years old, diabetic and missing an eye. His mom, Priscilla, started receiving condolence cards from friends who believed Tyler had "gone off to die". She had raised him from a bottle baby and being the good mom she is, microchipped him too. So when our Animal Protection Officers found Tyler yesterday, we were able to quickly reunite him with his mom, who never gave up hope 😍 Remember, microchips save lives and we offer them for FREE!Austin Animal Center · January 17 at 6:06am · Do you know this Yellow Golden Pheasant? With his puppy-like face and big smile, he has amassed quite a fan club at the shelter.
He is always so happy to see his friends and go on a walk (and sample what is in their treat bag…). But Dallas has been at the shelter since June, and he is starting to get depressed. Dallas was lucky enough to be able to spend a weekend with a volunteer, and we learned that Dallas has a lot of potential at home, though he prefers to be the only dog. His favorite thing is play...ing with toys and chasing balls in the yard, closely followed by working for treats.
He loves to snooze away on the couch, and is happy to be your cuddle buddy. We don’t think Dallas had the best life before arriving at the shelter, but we’ve promised him he will only know love from here on out. Nothing would make us happier than Dallas going to a foster or adoptive home so he can get all the snuggles he deserves. He'd go home with the tools and support needed to set him up for success.
If you think you might be a good fit for this sweet boy and volunteer favorite, please come meet him at the shelter! Please share, thank you!
