Kitty of the Month: Betsy Meet our Kitty of the Month, Betsy!Sex: FemaleDOB: March 2017Breed: Classic brown tabby, domestic short hair ATTENTION: Betsy has been adopted – hooray! Stay tuned for February’s Kitty of the Month, coming soon! About: A kind Animal House supporter was driving to St.
Louis to visit family when she pulled over at a truck stop at about 9pm. As she opened her car door, out of the darkness came a sweet, scruffy little kitty. Scared, bewildered, and alone. No one claimed the kitty so she hit the road with her rescuer, headed for St. Louis. This kitty, now known as Betsy, curled right up in her rescuer’s lap and slept there peacefully for the next five hours until they made it to St.
Louis. Betsy then spent the rest of the night cuddled up in bed with her rescuer as if she had always been there. The next day they came to Animal House. We quickly discovered Betsy did not have a microchip indicating ownership, but her love for humans is clear. She loves to be cuddled, sit in laps, and socialize with both cats and humans alike. She’s ready to find her forever family who love and care for her for the rest of her life!
